I hardly ever bump docks, it's about once or twice a week as regional. How about people who don't know what they're talking about keep their misinformation to themselves.

I knew exactly how you feel. In the years 1977, 78 and 79 I spent Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years on the east coast. I lived in calif then. It was the loneliest time in my life. I didn't know a sole. Plus those were some bad winters those years.

Put in your TAH request or not ..the load you are hauling is always more important that a person hauling it.
I experience it myself and guit after 8 years with them. Becouse of that very issue - asked to be home on the specific date....6 months in advance ..and been told to deliver it or be terminated.
I delivered it then got home
Then quit...
I was working out of Carlisle back then...
Glad that I quit - got a much better company to drive for nowmilehunter43 and 51.50 Thank this. -

From what I've gathered on the forums it's a good idea to put your time at home request in well ahead of when you need it and to make the start date for your time at home the day before you need it that way if something gets screwy you're still on time for the day that you actually need. But I don't feel like I'm just describing that quite properly
