I assume your credit history would have a lot to do with it, but what kind of APR rates are lenders getting for a used truck loan?

Well, we are paying 8.75%, but if we default on ONE payment, it jumps to 15% immediately.

Don't for the worst. Plan for the best. Pan for the best overhaul because you know it may come. plan for all the items a good business plan calls for
DON'T BUY ONE TRUCK, WHEN YOU CAN BUY TWO. Have a back up.
Ever go to buy a car for 8000 and find your just as quaified to buy one for 16000?
Just do it! Don't sit around and listen to ney sayers. Don't be afraid to succeed!
some successes just aren't as good as others, but as long as your not sitting on your
rear singing the blues you'll be fine.
I'm 58. All my not so succeesful income ventures have always lead me to something
better. The worst thing is to not try and wish you had.
Even worse is waking up to a old guy in the mirror who never took a chance

*Tear* this is what i like to hear. Everyone keeps telling me its a bad time to buy a truck, but i'm seeing great deals to be had.. If i can get financed and get going and weather this storm we call a bad economy, hell, when things pick up i'll have a low truck payment or none at all.. and that'll be on a truck that i actually like to drive! >.<

There are definitely good deals out there. I just saw a 2005 Pete with a 63" sleeper for $35k. I think it had 600k miles on it.

    Good luck to you!

    1lthippo Thanks this.

Thanks. It is USA Truck, but not the USA trucks that are white with the blue logo. Just a local company, 5 trucks.
