Government efficiency, lol. My guess...they pulled from the top of the form stack (most recent application) and went down from there.

Probably took 27 workers in that office to come up with that idea too!

Mine took about 2 weeks

Mine took 10 business days

I was not really counting days but about 2 weeks. It was a few weeks after that I went for the test, wanted to make sure DMV had it as I heard they may not take the letter sent to us as it needs to be in their system.

I never had any problem with the DMV never getting the letter, but in THAT letter it did say (maybe still does) or the website you register at, says do not throw it away, and to take it with you to the DMV, in case they did not get the email confirming that you passed. I always take the letter, it's never been needed, but know what? It's A LONG drive home, then back to the DMV and somehow, that LONG line at the DMV? Get's even longer!

A.G. you are right on taking your letter just in case. I should have said the same and I did bring it and a bunch of others just in case.

Where do I find the number for the rep in Texas? I rolled on 4/01 and I still haven't heard anything

Does everyone do the background check before the test? I'm doing mine in WI right now, took the test on Monday going for fingerprints next week. According to the lady at the dmv I shouldn't have to go back in they will just mail me my updated license once they get the results
