062, May I ask then, Who is GOD? Do I have to answer to him or not? Now after years of reading in my Bible that I do, you tell me You're the boss. Do I answer you from now on? I would advise sticking it out and go home, get the other job and then quit. You'll leave there with your integrity intact.
Oh I'm not afraid of him. I am concerned about dieing of old age in Laredo so I'm trying to determine the best way out of this mess without screwing myself
I'd agree with the others that you should bide your time filling online applications and calling potential employers. You've already hung in for six days (which is crazy), another few won't kill you. As the poster above me said, leave there with your integrity intact. Don't abandon the truck or drive it against their orders. Give them no reason to file anything on your DAC (if they use it) and give them two weeks notice when leaving for your new job. In the grand scheme of things six days isn't a whole lot in life so if this leads you to a better job than you're better off anyway.
laredo is not a bad spot, you need to have connection. I got plenty of SD loads coming out. But 6 days is way too much time. Most of my driver had waited is 4 days for the load to cross the border, meanwhile i got them doing local runs. Laredo to Houston or Dallas area and than go back pick up the main load. Im on your side driver, tell the company your fed up.
Well this will get deep if you want to go there.you can't tell me who god is. Is or where he came from you're stock answer is he's always been here.which is fine that's whAt Makes you feel good.my dads point was be you're own man.i don't know why you read more into it?
I agree... I've been there in that situation. Sound like ur new to the trucking world. And possibly with crst.lol but be smart. ..
I agree with the others. Only thing that would worry me would be them calling and reporting the truck stolen. As bad as they sound I wouldn't put it past em to do something shady like that. Good luck!
Wish u woulda posted that sooner...was in laredo yesterday...u coulda parked the truck and ida gave u a lift...after we made sure ur truck was broke down of course .lol
