i missed the slipseat part. that limits what you can do in a timely manner. and in my earlier post, i meant good call on the fuse being close to the battery. i added radio in the first part of the sentence one too many times. and now the edit button is gone for that post lol

No! but 10 amp is way to large for a standard CB. My Galaxy 99 and RCI 2950 only use a 7 amp fuse. They can get away with 5. So why but 10 amps in a 4-20 watt CB. If something goes wrong with the regulator the radio could burn out before the fuse blows. A 10 amp will not protect the CB. Most CB's come with a 2 amp fuse installed. Someone hear just likes to hear himself talk. And will post anything trying to impress with mostly jibberish. And has really nothing to do with Drivers and Big trucks.Bighig Thanks this.

How often do you need to replace fuses? I sure have several 7 amp fuses. I found them in a auto parts store. Slipseating, well you can go copy and paste that info also.Bighig Thanks this.

Normal you fuse most radios for 150% and it will protect the radio ...Bighig Thanks this.
