How many don't make it?

How did you come to arrive at that number may I ask?

 

Yeah...A lot of new drivers dont make it,however if you'll notice many times its something the driver brought on himself or simply disqualified.Example: This driverdriver cant sleep or,this driver failed his drug test,this driver speeds,too many tickets,this guy has diabetes.This driver dropped a trailer accidently in the street.This guy banged up the truck(and didnt report it.This driver starved out on .30 a mile.Just saying this is a dedicated lifestyle easy to lose.,the attention to detail being very importantSeen a flatbed driver bust out a chunk of a abridge with an overheight load.Traffic backed up for 12 miles on i5 near exit 76.Appeared to be a veteran driver,had the plaid shirt with the arms tore out and everything.He was waiting on a string of tickets,shaking his head.They had to dissasemble the bridge and rebuild part of it.He knew he was out a job.Kinda felt sorry for him.

 

2 of us from my Werner orientation class made it 1 year that i know of.
Him and I became good friends.
He is currently training his wife as she just recently got her cdl a and they are teaming. We both got our 1 year of svc keychain and our 1 year bonus.
Yes, Werner gave us a bonus for 1 year of svc. Pretty #### good one too.
I will probably either do a mentor program for the dedicated im on or learn doubles since we run them on FD.

A lot more than someone would think, but that's not the issue.

The issue is why?

The test is really easy, everyone should pass it the first time without any issues but amazingly many can't pass the written let alone a road test.

One of the questions that I or my manager asks is how many times did it take to pass the test? If they took more than two times, they won't be driving my truck.
