I have two.
I have a Toshiba with Windows XP that I bought when my old laptop died this past Thanksgiving, and a Gateway with Windows Vista that I bought about a month ago with my desktop died.
I guess this was my time to spend way too much money on computers, LOL.
How many have laptops...

Don't get anything from those clown's in the truck stop's like Interstate Connections at the TA in Denver which went out of business some time back and I got screwed over for an air card that wouldn't work from AT&T. As of now because they never turned it off and extracted my name from the contract I still as of today owe AT&T a sum of $1,300.00. If dealing with anythign of the such, go to the Best Buy or AT&T/Sprint etc to get it and not those ###### t/s con artists.

I start in this job with a laptop. Not a classic map(sorry if I dissapointed someone). I'm not a cyber trucker but I can't live without internet. Is always open on my right side and GPS-me where I want. Also my logbook is on the computer and I have to use it quite often.
Is a usefull piece of equipment from a lot of points of view. I find my loads online, if I can't find an adress I will find it for sure online, if I need a repair or so is findable online etc. Today almost everything is online. I just can't live without it.
While I drive I keep open just the GPS software, but at night or when I have to stop and have time is a relaxing tool.
I do have internet with Verizon(5 GB/month) and is quite enough if I dont stream a lot. I have the internet plan USA + Canada and I'm so happy (mostly in Canada) coz the adresses there are not so friendly to find (and Quebec is famous for that).
This is the second laptop (the first died premature coz of vibrations) and the way I fix it now is stable and the screen is not moving like the old one use to.
Like a conclusion: I love having at my right hand any information I need to know, at anytime, everytime.
