How many miles do you run in a year at Prime?

From what I have seen if people aren't getting miles its because they drag their feet too much, or have problems delivering on time. Then they are given longer Windows to deliver and get less miles if they wait till the last minute. If your self motivated it won't be a problem.

 

Exactly this. The planners do notice who is waiting at the stop when the window opens, and who sneaks in just before it closes. Guess who gets the JIT 1500 mile load?

Another trick is to call your manager as soon as you hit the 90 for your next load. They'll soon start stacking you just to keep you from calling...

Prove that you can be there safely and on time, and you won't be hurting for miles at any company.

 

If this was the case I should have been frozen out a long time ago. I don't train, I'm solo, and I'm an owner-operator. I'm paid a large percentage of the gross on each load... so Prime could make a lot by giving the best paying loads to company guys, and sitting me in favor of PSD/TnT trucks. They don't. My gross revenue is higher than ever, and I don't lack for loads.
