How many of you OTR cross border guys will actually quit because of the mandates?

Really? Must have your head in the sand. Or it could just be that I have a daughter in high school. Either way the abuse the government is putting these kids through, well if I did it I'd get thrown in jail.
Making them wear specific articles of headdress, not allowing them to socialize, making them sit by themselves and generally treating them like they are all plague carriers.

No school kids are being abused "for their own good" because the media is pushing out the kids are dying crap and too many Karens are believing it and forcing the school to be run like a prison.

 

Must be looking in the wrong places. Everything I find says that while deaths and cases among kids did climb it's still extremely rare for them to become very sick.

 

Yup. But now we have schools mandating kids get an experimental therapeutic vaccine. That we don't know the possible long term side effects. Or face being disenrolled. While I'm not saying the vaccine is bad. It's not a traditional one. Such as small pox or mumps.

Let us adults take the risk. Instead of our children.

Delivered to a small mom and pop in northern Michigan a while back. Was chatting with the owner and of course covid came up. He was pro vaccine and said he got his 12 year old vaccinated as soon as he could but the poor kid is scared to admit it to his friends.

Whatever side you take on all this it seems the peer pressure is too much for some of the adults. Imagine what it's like for the teens.

 

It is now admitted that the vaccines do not prevent the spread or decrease the risk of catching wuflu. All that is recognized is that it may decrease the symptoms and chances of ending up in ICU somewhere. So punishing people who don’t have the jab is doing nothing to actually deal with this illness. no chance no way am I or anyone in my family ever getting the shot, way too many side effects. I can deal with a case of the sniffles just fine. I am under 70 years old, so almost zero risk for my age group. Mandating this garbage on everybody is beyond ridiculous.

 

Kind of hard to not admit it when the presidents press secretary gets it, large numbers of hockey teams living in bubbles are getting it, and on and on….

 

Due to people not getting vaccinated in hospital staff Manitoba Government decided not to mandate it for staff but wants testing for now.

 

It's going to be interesting to see if the mandate changes for crossing the boarder. The way these mandates have effected everyday life is mind boggling. Lots of people leaving there jobs which is causing a rippling affect in everyday life no matter what or were you may work

Im Immune compromised, my doctors have told me I'm very high risk amd need this vaccine yet I'm still hesitant with everything that is going around weather on msm or the governments propaganda to some doctors even being against it. Who do you beleive. Not to mention driving non stop to amd from the states since the beginning and still here to talk about it. The way it's been portrayed you think that would be next to impossible

 

The chance of a serious side effect is way less than the chance of a serious result from an infection. Right now in Canada the fastest infection rate is in people under 19yrs old. We will all eventually get it, the longer it takes to fight it off the greater the chance of serious damage and the greater the chance of a variant developing. Do your part get vaccinated.
