How much #### am I going to get for being visibly lgbt in this field?

Don’t get too excited @Brandt didn’t post any pictures of TA/Petro shower rooms, those are the ones you imagined, lol.
Mostly just small, dated and just dirty looking in general. Loves tends to have the nicer ones.

 

Does this mean you call it harassing behavior unless you receive a parade and are called brave & receive praise 24/7 ? Just do your job & stop expecting life to be a 90 year back massage.

 

A few things:
1) A lot of shippers/receivers make drivers use a port-a-potty.
2) Some rest areas and service plazas (toll road) will have a "family assist" bathroom. (Anyone can use them)
3) Personally, I'd rather be around an LGBTQ driver who knows what they're doing than deal with flip flop who can't even read directions or back into 2 spaces.

 

It’s true not all truck stop showers are nice. Petro truck stop used to be the best. Once TA bought them out they start going downhill and never updated or remodeled them very much.
You still see these white tile squares Petro showers today. You can see they are old and pretty dirty.

Loves truck stop are all new and they designed new showers and made showers rooms bigger and better then Petro or TA.

There is truck stop in Bolingbrook Illinois it looks like a dump. I need a shower and did not care what it was like. I was shocked when I got in shower. It was amazing to see. Hopefully drivers did not trash the shower by now





They clean the showers after each driver so they can get backed up waiting for showers or if everyone is stopped at same time wanting a shower or the truck stop is small and only has 3 shower vs big truck stop with 30 showers. You can reserve a shower and wait in your truck still your shower is cleaned and ready using the truck stop app today.
