Back when I was a trainer my first student was a guy that like to wear sundresses. I did not care, if that made him feel more comfortable while driving. I was more worried about getting in accident. So I figured if he was more relaxed or comfortable we less likely to have accident. I never understood his reasoning for wearing it because he had a mustache and hairy legs. He was not trying to pass himself off as a lady.

I think he went into truck stop like that a couple times I don’t remember. He was never threatened or anything. Probably got some funny looks from people.

The truck stop showers are all private rooms. Each driver gets shower room. The truck stop have 5-30 private showers and when training or running team. You just tell the truck stop you need two showers. Each driver we will get separate shower room.

when on trainer truck if they run you as team one driver is driving and the other is sleeping and you have to or should sleep on bottom bed. Because if truck stop fast and you’re on the top bed you will probably get hurt in the 6 foot fall to the floor. It’s normal when two driver are in truck, for other driver to sleep in bottom bed when truck is moving.

I don't think u know what ur talking about...he didn't go on about anything. Simply telling u the truth... truck drivers get treated like animals out here.. and it ain't because ur gay or a they or black or brown, or if u have a donkey on ur head... it's all the same. We are scum of the earth in the eyes of most everyone.

Lmao i never understood the masculine crossdressing thing but i admire the complete lack of ####s they give lol. Good for him. And that’s good that the showers are all private assuming there not gendered because id rather not be legally obliged to out myself. Im not sure it Roehl does it like teams or not but hopefully not because im a very light sleeper. Could probably get away with low sleep for a week or so before i start shutting down until i get a 12 hour power sleep lmao. Or maybe not i dunno till i actually live it lol

Ohh I’m not uncomfortable. It’s all make believe and that’s fine. You asked the industry what you should do and these are the answers you got. Sorry we didn’t pander to you and give you the answers you wanted everyone to give. It’s fine. You’ll be washed out in less than 2 years. Meanwhile I make 130k a year hauling fuel and been at it 13 years. It’s fine really.

Who actually treats truckers bad? Shipping and receiving or what? I don’t understand why people would look down on truckers so much

It’s make believe to take hormones to change your skin muscles fat distribution brain and everything else that runs off hormones etc. to look and be perceived as a woman? That doesn’t even make sense. I’ll be fine in 2 years no offense but trucking really isn’t hard at least for a Blue collar job. I like driving aimlessly i will stay out for months lmao. I don’t care about your 130k fuel job.

A lot of people hate truckers, even other truckers. There’s so many problems in the industry and not a lot of solutions. It’s a really hard job. No parking, lots of traffic, endless delays and more. And no one cares if you’re gay. Just don’t be weird, and be confident.

It’s easy until you have no life and are on the road for months at a time. Trust me. No one here is sitting here telling you this to be mean. It’s just the facts of the industry

Hopefully trucking gets better with time but from what i know it’s been consistently downhill for uh since forever? Hopefully they don’t keep getting more and more stupid computers and regulations to ruin everything even more. Is driving at night a good tactic to avoid the no parking and traffic at least? Because it was my plan
