How much could I make?

Screw Uber and Lyft...Get your CDL and get truckin'

 

Last summer I took a month off from fishing and Drove Uber/Lyft here in Juneau, Alaska in July. I was shocked how much money I made. I was making 300-400 a day driving with both apps usually 12-15 hours.

 

Why would anyone drive a truck if they could pull down $3-400 a day driving a car?. It baffles me.

No HOS, no DOT, no truck stop living, and so on and so on.

 

Uber/Lyft isnt a real job thats why its just for extra income and kinda fun sometimes. I did it for tourists and met a lot of cool people but OTR driving is a career if you want and always an adventure. That’s what I like about it is you never know where you’ll be the next day and the open road is good therapy for me lol

 

I do this for the money. If there is a way to get paid more, working less I'm all for it.

Everything Ive read suggests that rideshare doesn't pay enough in my area so OTR it is.

 

Yeah depends on the area I live in juneau alaska we get 1.3 million cruise ship passengers a summer. Good summer gig. Obviously not this year though. Everything up here is a bust this season
