All major truck stops have showers. Some have gyms. It a not an easy task to stay in shape. As you are sitting on your butt behind the wheel for log periods of time

How and why? You have a stop in mind and you drive there. Taxis drivers deal with drunks, nasty traffic and nasty drivers. I was rear-ended and I am in pain. I won't get rear-ended in a massive rig.

You can get rear ended in a big truck. There are plenty of videos on you tube that will show you trucking accidents.

You can make $80K a year with FFE (Frozen Food Express) on the "Plasma account."
That's fact and some of those drivers post on here.

All truckers must take a drug test; hair follicle or urine, but mostly hair follicle.
If you test positive, you're shafted. Doesn't matter if you have a prescription or not. Many pain pills are banned in trucking.
Swift does hair follicle. I think those others I listed do also.
I think Prime Inc. still does urine test.
If you tell any company about your whiplash, they'll ask if you've been on prescription pain pills.

I was rear ended last month. Its a dangerous job because u drive thru many different elements each and everday and ur rig weighs up to 80k pounds. That little car ur driving weighs only a couple thousand if that. Its a whole different ballgame than driving a car. There is an entirely diffferent mental process that u have with a truck than a car.

I take a muscle relaxant at night. It puts me to sleep like crazy. But my doctor gave it to me. Will they not hire me? That's sad.

Ur paycheck will vary based on how many miles you will run and how effectively u manage ur logbook , as well as how competant ur dispatcher is and what kind of reputation u build inside the dispatch office.
