You might do $4,000 a month you. You might like to know lots of the big trucking companies have 110% turn over in a year. Most driver are not quitting because they are making big money. TA/Peto has a couple truck stops with gym.
Depends on if it's on the banned list. What's the name of the medication? @Moose1958 knows how to check that.
Cyclobenzaprine(Flexeril). My doctor strictly told me to take it when I am about to sleep, and said DON'T DRIVE. This thing is powerful. You will go to sleep no matter what. Worse than alcohol if you are behind the wheel.
U will have to get comfortable with these conditions if want to be a trucker... this is a nice beautiful day in the rocky mountains..
Typically I’m getting to my first stop about 830ish in the AM, and those first 8 might all be within a mile of each other.
How long does it take to get a stop off the trailer and paperwork signed and back on road to next stop ?
Just understand that trucking is not a guranteed paycheck. There is some weeks u could make 300 and the next week could be 1800 or more... i have pulled a $5800 month when i was with swift . Had 3 months over 5k in the 14 months i was with them. Made just over 45k my first year with them. And those 3 big months were the last 3 months i was with them. It took me about a year to figure out how they schedule things out and the mentality of my dispatcher. It really is all about time management and understanding the limits of the logbook so u could work all the angles. How hard ur willing to run. 3k miles a week . Week after week is not easy to do , physically or mentally , cross country. Its a grind chasing miles... ur sleep pattern changes all the time. Got to drive when ya dont want to. Got to run thru all kinds of storms if ya wanna get paid.
But $300 will be for less driving, right? It is not that you drive 2000 miles and they pay you $300. I am familiar with that. When Uber is slow, I make less money.
