How much DEF to add?

I'm still looking for the ID-10-T oil I was sent out to get....

 

I can send you some dehydrated water. .5 mpg better with it.

 

I grabbed fuel at the franklin OH, pilot on I-75 few months after i was cut loose on my own. Tried to pull away from the pumps but lost power like engine was derrating on purpose. Went to park in a spot quick before i blocked a fuel lane.

Called the shop told them i had just fueled. First response is you didnt put def in the fuel tanks did you? Im like no im not that dense.

Long story short is one tech got sent out to look at codes and ended up removing the speedometer cable so i could get the truck to a shop. (Works on volvos apparently) tech leaves now i cant go anywhere because i cant get any acceleration which put me on the tow list.

Wire on a sensor shorted to the computer which caused the derrating issue.

Im scarred from the accusation of putting def in the fuel tanks lol thanks @IluvCATS

An please don't put deaf people in your gas tank. It's not very nice, and it won't help your fuel issues. In fact it'll clog your tank all up! An it could be considered a hate crime. The ADA may or may not cover this..(Americans with Disabilities Act)

Adding DEF to diesel will freeze an engine. I took this as a joke. But hey. Some new driver might not. #######.

 

it probably would be better to add antifreeze to the fuel and def to be sure

 

I am going to turn off my Def system. Because I dont feel like buying any. The carrier has it in bulk. I'm just going to pull some fuses but will get a derate of a little bit I think. Will know in the morning. I am hoping my elog is not affected.
