Yes, they are approved examiners, and they sign the license application. All we did was drop the paper work off at the DOT.

Newbie....ur taking the Baker Program (which branch?)....you say its very detailed..is that in a good way? How is the overall program tho cuz I am applying for Baker in Cass City this fall. Just wanna know if is well worth it. And you say that you can get financial aid? That will be good to know I'm at Ferris State right now and absolutley dislike it....architecture is not my thing I found out...lol. But any information you could send my about Baker would really help me out.

My class is $2900, but the Navy is paying $2600 of that. I will pay a little over $300 + DMV:laughing6: . I figured I would use the Navy’s tuition assistance while I can. I retire soon and won’t be able to use it then.

In Texas it cost me 10.00 for the learner permit. 68.00 for the test and driver licence. The truck was 200.00 and a six pack!

What school did you go to in Va., Cerberus? I'm attending Alliance in Wytheville, paid a pretty penny but seems to be worth it so far.

I plan on going to Delaware Tech...8 week course, 300 hours, 55 hours behind-the-wheel, PTDI certified...$3,300. It will actually cost me $1,800...GM has a tuition assistance program for retirees and will pay $1,500 :smt023
