How you manage to work 100 weeks a year? Lol ....

Richter it does like you are doing well. Your 150 may be possible considering your truck is paid off. If the time ever comes that you shell out 150,000 for a new truck that has to be accounted for too, as well as a higher insurance premium ... I am kind of in the same situation, truck and trailer is paid off, yeah I could pay myself 150 a year, but that doesn't help my idea of growing my company so other people can do the driving ... when the day comes I have new truck and trailer payments, that 150 won't be possible ... I also prefer more time at home rather than working every waking hour ...

Ok if you drive 3,000 miles a week for 50 weeks you would end up driving 150,k miles so just say that's a good week for you but not typical.

Wow after reading these posts I don't think I'd ever want to own my own truck. 3-4k miles a week? That's ball busting driving right there. As a company guy I drive between 2-2500 a week and I gross right around 60k a year home every weekend.

    i don't drive over 3k ever. i norm average 2500. If I drove 2000 I would still double your salary...but 60k isnt bad for a company driver.

That why I didn't want to post "proof" because in know you guys would say that. maybe i'll drive 150k. In either case, look at the per mile numbers....I made more in revenue then Mr. 2.14.mile...and my expenses were lower. So his theory about running a bunch of empty miles to avoid low rate freight and save fuel is BS.
