An engine can be overhauled for less than $2000 in parts, a rear end for $260 a tranny for $580, brakes $48 per wheel, an overhead $0 when you reuse the old gaskets and a 35# bucket of grease cost $45. My fuel current fuel mileage is 7.4 at an average cost of $3.78/gallon.

I am not trying to argue with you. If you have your operating cost that low, congratulations.281ric Thanks this. -

A shop may charge $75 to $95 an hour. My truck does not always generate that much in revenue.

FYI,
to reduce the risk of getting banned again, I'm going to leave this tread lol. That being said, all my number i posted in this tread are real and non of them were lies. if you dont believe me, then find something better to do with your time. (other then picking apart numbers just because you think your better) Either way, my point to the OP, was that decent numbers are possible with hard work and good management of your trucking business.
Anyway, have fun tearing each other apart...im out.Redman30 and LittleMissCabover Thank this. -
I'd love to see QUALITY engine internals for @$2k for an inframe kit. Aftermarket China junk, sure. Quality OEM parts, never.
As far as tearing each other apart, there was only one getting tore up IIRC.
This weeks take home was $7400. So as far as some folks' logic, I will net $370,000......

Drums are replaced only when measured and are found to be out of specs. A rebuild kit is nothing more than a few bearings, a seal and $4 worth of washers. Injectors are only $250 ea. We're talking Timken bearings and oem injectors.
