not going to work... taller 2", deeper 5", LONGER 12"... so it can't fit where a apu does..
Compared to my quiet gas generator it's louder by 15db (that's a lot) and 315lb heavier.. and way bigger 36×24×22 v 22x20x17

That is exactly what I did. Mini split system and home brew generator.
Engine is Kubota EA 330 water cooled 6hp. Generator head was scored on the local sale list. Water electrical pump from VW car. Radiator and fan shroud out of Carrier APU junk. Controller is MGC 100 smart generator controller.
Have it for 4years. Only one problem was the glow plug burned. -
the Dynasys and tri pack have the same engine, had 2 new Dynasys, and am now on 1st new Tripack, which runs at 3200 RPM as apposed to the 3600 RPM, what a HUGE difference, in vibration, and dependability, if you had the HAVAC in full blast for very long you could hang meat in the sleeper, it doesn't need be on constantly, for any reason, were running an 1800 Watt Inverter, and 1000 watt Microwave, the Dynasys, defiantly sucks more fuel, and is less dependable
