I unloaded a trailer of tires yesterday morning from a dead sleep, was awake about 10 minutes.
32,000 pounds.
1,108 pieces.
So this much I know for certain -
I may have a stroke, but my heart is definitely in excellent shape lol.
3 hours 45 minutes. Touched every single one.
Toward the end of the day today, I could pretty much straiten my arms out all the way.x1Heavy, WesternPlains, Bean Jr. and 1 other person Thank this. -

Getting them loose is half the battle. The top three rows above my head are tough.
But once you get an opening you climb up and kind pull them over. -
Dave... you got me thinking.... side dump trailer...
Dave_in_AZ Thanks this. -
My first load of tires i in Utah. They were pretty big tires not interlaced but stacked. The guys all stood around watching while I struggled those buggers down one at a time...until the owner came out, had a fit, and whupped out the grabber forklift. Those dirty guys were having a laugh on me.
Dave_in_AZ, tucker and x1Heavy Thank this. -
I hate to be so crude but that's not all the reasons men stand around making a woman do the work. I would not be back there if I can help it. They should be ashamed of themselves for wilful laziness.
as far as Dave is concerned with him and his cats, there is or was a article on Fox about a man who brushes cats at a local shelter. He sometimes has to rest a minute with a nap and usually a cat bundled deep taking a nap right there with him.Dave_in_AZ, Bean Jr. and UturnGirl Thank this. -
kemosabi49, x1Heavy, Dave_in_AZ and 1 other person Thank this.
