How Much Hometime????

Day 4 of hometime this time.

The OM is already on about a lot of work that needs to be done. I can see this is going to be another unfair hometime.

 

Got truck #2 back from Freightliner. Warranty paid everything. Something about DEF line. Actual line? wire? I'll never know. Even the guy that takes you to get your truck in back - this is no BS, walks up and says " I still have 8 minutes left on my lunch."

That's a rap for Freightliner. Called around, all the high end shops will do they work and it's covered by the Freightliner warranty.

Made giant pot of soup, cooking noodles now, the unfairness continues.

 

That's not acceptable to me. Being happy that a group of ####### finally did their jobs. I expect more than that, and I won't settle for that kind of treatment. The place is full of dildos. And if the people in charge weren't dildos, it wouldn't be that way.

 

Day 5 & 6 of home time.

I actually took some home time. I've done nothing but cook and eat for 2 days. I am ashamed.

 

That was actually going to be one of my next questions. Should I book freight? I still have good weeks worth of stuff to do here, maybe more.

 

Well I got up at 0400 met wrench for PM and had headlight wiring fixed on second truck.

Then took it to Glendale Laser Alignment. Alignment is good.

Truck 2 is ready to roll.

So then took Casper over. Alignment is good. Having APU fixed, appears to be low oil sensor is bad.

I just knew the OM would get her way, who is curled up sleeping someplace, while I have another unfair hometime.

I did find a place close by that has hot roast beef sandwiches though.

 

Casper is all ready.

Now have to pay bills. Could have had a group catwoman weekend with all this.

But oh no.
