Well it's been awhile hometime fans. But all hometime has been unfair.
Got into Phoenix at 0200 and delivered.
Then took the cats home this morning.
Then got APU fixed.
Now I'm being loaded again.
Legendary hometime unfairness.

I'm being forced to go home this weekend cause there's no freight worth running over the weekend. While I'm at home I will be running errands for the company on my own time. I have to drive 140 miles one way to pick up a headache rack. Then drive back. I'm sure at some point in the near future I will be required to install said headache rack. At least I won't be required to get the truck serviced this hometime.
I feel your pain Dave.Dave_in_AZ and FlaSwampRat Thank this. -
Poor Dave...
I have to make the two hour drive home, every 5th day. 2 days hometime. Then back for four. I really got it tough.Woodys and FlaSwampRat Thank this. -
I drive 20 miles to work, I live in the city and work in the country so I go opposite of traffic. Not so bad, 23 minute trip.
FlaSwampRat and Dave_in_AZ Thank this. -
I typically walk up to where I keep my truck. 2 miles. About a half hour.FlaSwampRat and Fold_Moiler Thank this.

I'm the exact opposite lol. Live in the country and work in the city so 10 miles takes up to 45 minutes to get to work but only takes 15 to get home in the early morning.Dave_in_AZ and Fold_Moiler Thank this.

Yeah it sucks when it works out like that.
I’m glad I don’t have to deal with Minneapolis traffic anymore unless I’m on the clock.Dave_in_AZ and FlaSwampRat Thank this.
