Well had dinner with my wife and some of her leo friends talk about biting my tounge young leo says he wished they would give him authority to shut down trucks if logs off ....i,m like ya i allways run legal all the time :-\ didnt bother argueing mostly cause my wife stared me down and becsuse i remember being young and that idealistic....
Never had a log book ticket not that i didnt deserve one a few times -
And as to signing the logsheet at the beginning of the day. Well, would you go into a car dealer, sign a blank contract, then try to swing a deal???? How can you attest to a true and proper log until you have it filled out???
That would be one ticket i'd fight to the US Supreme court. -
It clearly states: "I certify these entries are true and correct" it does not state or imply that the log is a contract, or that the day must be complete and done before signing. -
Well it's nice that you would like to know what the fine is but really you MUST fight the ticket and hire a lawyer. I fight every ticket no matter what. Don't just pay the fine. I've got myself out of some impossible situations by following this mantra.
Yes it's gonna cost you but that's the way it is.
Fight the good fight.
Good luck -

Actually when I think about it, it's a toss up whether you should fight it or not being that it's a non mover. It just hits your CSA score so you could go either way.
