How much time allowed between license and first job?

All places are different, It was 7 months AFTER truckin school before I got into the industry (needed to receive retirement pension first). No I did not have to go thru a "Refresher Course" either....What was the secret ? I ACED the companys road test !

 

And I thought I was fast getting my CDL at 9:15 in the morning and interviewing at 2:30 that afternoon!
The jobs, they are there...

 

ohh and to add look local unless you dont have any strings... my first year (this year) I should gross close to 60 yea its good to be home at night

 

None if the mega carriers really run enough in my area to hire out of it, so I wasn't able to get a job for over a year(driving tractor-trailers), used the year driving local straight trucks.
