FFE can shove their trucks up their arse sideways without any KY. Same goes for the fat, lazy ###, sob DM I had. Thank god for for being granted my own equipment and authority. Don't have to put up with BS like that anymore.
rabbiporkchop Thanks this. -

And people dispute what I say... -
I'm not any more. My last paycheck was more than 1k. Not this week, but next week will be easily 1k again.
Best part? They fired my DM. No kidding.
I stopped by the yard this week and heard that KLLM is going to make FFE charge detention fees for lazy shippers and relievers. We should get a cut of it. -
Wouldn't count on it.

Have to agree with this.rabbiporkchop Thanks this.

Like any job, especially trucking, you'll earn more the more you learn. Most new drivers can expect to make upwards of 40 K their first year. It should go up from there. I think that most company drivers with a few years experience make around 50-65K per year depending on motivation. Depending on what you decide to do, team, train, lease, the numbers will adjust to your particular field. I think that most people that complain about pay, usually have not got everything figured out, when it comes to earning.

Please send me an invite to whichever company you made 40k at.
I have a year + now am having difficulty trying to find that in major metros around me pulling anything from tanker to hazmat (and both.)
20-25K is a reasonable expectation in your first year.
Don't forget that the training in the form of getting your CDL and experience is worth money, but not much from FFE- frankly.rabbiporkchop Thanks this. -
