I made $51,805 driving my first year (not including my business earnings). I would have made a lot less if I didn't take control of my own appointments even as a company driver.

 

You can run as hard as you like but that don't mean you'll get the miles.With mega carriers they only have so much freight to go around.You'll make 25 to 30 k the first yr if that.

 

To make 51,000+ at .30 a mile which is one of the highest per mile rates ur gonna get with a mega, I would of had to drive roughly 170,000 miles in a year. These numbers don't seem achievable as a 1st year rookie. If they are I'm guessing its rare and don't get ur hopes up for much more then 35000$.
