I follow the posted warnings, I've shut down twice since I started. both warnings were in Wyoming, gusts of 50 mph plus winds, the first time I had 3200 lbs in the box with a wait of 8 hrs, the second was 6000 in the box with a wait of 3 days. after 28 hr the company ok'd a drop in a yard down the road in opposite direction. unless a roadway is closed Most of runs are heavy enough to go on through.

I grew a pair and kept driving and I made it to the Petro in Ontario. The wind is a lot calmer here but it's supposed to get worse and I will soon be unloaded with an empty box.
Fuelinmyveins, Lepton1 and gokiddogo Thank this. -
You might want to grow another pair with an empty box and 65 mph winds.Fuelinmyveins and Midnightrider909 Thank this.

Give your dispatcher a heads up in case you do encounter high winds.Midnightrider909 Thanks this.

With this weather system you're dealing with, it won't be like Santa Ana Winds or like southern Wyoming winds that go on for days in excess of 50 mph. These winds will come and go with passing storm bands and localized near more intense cells.
Midnightrider909 Thanks this. -
We're supposed to deliver to Camp Pendleton and then go back up to Ontario drop the Mt and pick up a load of hazmat and take it to Illinois. Hopefully we can get out of here before it gets too bad
