How much would you charge?

    yes, if that's what he wants then ask for it, doesn't mean he is going to get it. Is't that what we all have to do? Figure out our cost then figure out what we want to make over our cost then that is what we charge.

    Is there any reason why you couldn't put a load into that empty container to make more money?

    I've never dealt with containers, but my grandfather had stories from 'back in the day'. He dropped his flatbed in Philly and picked up a chassis and container (was a shorty, too) for a load going to Chicago. Then, once in Chicago, nobody could find a load that could fit back into the container for the trip back to Philly to get his flatbed. Said he'd never do a container load ever again. This was back sometime in the 80s, I believe.

    So, unless something changed since then, I assume you can load a container.
