Unfortunately my company makes me stay otherwise honestly after 2 or 3 hours I would leave if I was owner op. If you give me an appointment for say 1 and haven't started by 3, why make the appointment. Because I'm sure if the roles were reversed and I made them wait there would be hell to pay. Ik because the couple times I missed my appointments starting out, the 3PL was mad

It's just so rare in my flatbed world I don't worry about it that much. In the last 3 years I can probably count on one hand the times I've had to wait over two, two and half hours, to get loaded. It's even better on the receiver side of things. Most the time they are chomping at the bit so hard I haven't even finished stowing gear before they start unloading.

2 hours. Call my agent. Getting more money to sit? Cool. Send me new rate sheet. Don’t leave without it. Once waited 10 hrs for new rate sheet. Called agent to get new rate. Said I’d been sitting here 10 waiting. They got a little snippy. Told me to take it off. Ok, pay me $750 day rate, off it comes. Got my new rate ($1000 extra) and away I went
