How often do you lube?

    Grease every single week, including jacking the front end.

    oil every 10k.

    It may be excessive but it gives me a chance to visit with the underside of my truck. You'd be surprised what you might see down there.

    I’m not sure if you missed my comment, but I posted a document from Freightliner stating to not jack up the truck when lubricating the kingpins on both Detroit and Meritor axles. Who knows why not. Perhaps they say not to because the kingpin was designed in a way so that it can be greased without needing to be jacked. Old equipment may have had instructions at one point to jack it up until the manufacturer decided to make that obsolete. Just my theory.
