Yep, same thing passing a bull hauler, sometimes its liquid, sometimes its not. Bullsnot really messes up a windshield and God forbid you get it on your front grill, you'll smell that for hours. Running the AA onetime, I hit a skunk just before my meal break, I parked spent an hour eating and the truck still stunk!

i stop when i gotta go to the bathroom, if its 0 times or 10 times in a day but thats the only stopping i do.

usually only once or twice.

Thanks Karhaulr, lol, I found this device online. It improves circulation and avoids blood from pooling like you said. I am thinking about buying it to give it a try. The price is steep tho. But might be a good investment. http://venowave.com/dvt-prevention.php
What do you think? -
Generally every 3 hours I would think, a bit more or less depending on how many trips I have that day, if I am assigned 2 trips and I will end them with 2 hours on my clock I know it isn't enough to get another unless I end at a few places that are very close to other plants , then I will use those 2 hours washing clothes or eating or something, if I have one trip and I cannot get it done in a days time I am gonna sleep at a truckstop anyway, not a plant so I will stop only when I need to eat or pee usually then.
Basically when I get my load assignment I will make a plan that includes however many stops I have time for. -
Rob, I know this question was not directed to me, but I'm going to throw out belief here anyhow. Before you lay out big bucks for any type of medical equipment, talk with your doctor and get their opinion. That does not mean that all doctors are always correct, but at least hear what they have to say and take it under advisement.

Rob G, I would think that if you are young, and some what healthy, and don't smoke, then just stopping would be fine for your situation.
If you are really concerned with DVT, I would have to agree with the old fart and say talk to your doctor.
Theres a doctor you can ask on here too.

Thanks Karhaulr! I will ask the doctor. I am concern about DVT bacause I know even 18 yr old healthy people have died from this (long flight). But then again I might just be obsessing.
Thank you tho -
Rob.G, you can see your doc and get an Rx for compression hose. Don't sweat the "hose" part. They are actually a strong elastic sock that helps keep the blood from pooling in your legs. (They sell them at Walmart, but they're not very durable) Also, get out and walk around periodically. You can also flex your leg muscles while driving, it helps keep the blood flowing. You can also research the risk factors for DVTs and see which ones may apply to you.
