No, most of the time I try to stop in a rest area instead of a truck stop for sleep (quieter). I do try to hit a T/S for the daily (hopefully) shower.
Most of the time I go 2-3 hrs between potty breaks. Doc sez too much blood in my coffee system and that my blood type is MJB. Never nap during drive time, sandwiches/coffee made before rolling in the morning. -
I would be stopping after 3-4 hours. It's not good to sit for that long PLUS its good to check your tires or look around for any other issues.

We all know the shippers don't want you to touch a seal once it's been put in place. When you pick up preloaded trailers from regular customers there is a trust factor that they know what they are doing and most likely shrink wrapped the product. I have yet to see an oddball load that was preloaded. Most of those are live loads you can monitor or at least secure and seal yourself. The trust factor even extends to the DOT when they see a sealed trailer. I have had only one seal broken by the DOT since I've been driving. So you see it is very rare. I've had overweight trailers I had to go back and break the seal but that's a different story.
One time I had to repower a load at the Petro in Knoxville,TN. It was a load of welding rods and it was sealed. The other driver gave me a copy of the scale ticket with an identical truck. He didn't bother to tell me the load shifted. Like you don't know a load of welding rods slamming forward. Needless to say I got an over weight ticket as soon as I pulled out to the scales. The company paid the fine.
A seal is nothing but to verify a load's integrity. If drivers are popping them to check for securement the integrity is broken. -
Because CommDriver in some states if caught you will be charged with a sex crime and will become a registered sex offender. This will force you to registered with the local PD of where you live. Plus in many states its illegal to park on the ramps and again if caught its a ticket with a big fine and points on your CSA Score. Its just not worth the risk.
