How often is the CB used?

I work for Penske, and you can always run a 2nd coax and your own antenna setup. Just keep all the original equipment for when you turn the truck in, or we charge back the cost to replace everything back to your company post lease.

 

I know at a point in the past Penske used primarily Freightliners in their rental fleet. Last I heard Freightliners used those mounted CB antenna's for the AM/FM Radio. What will removing these antenna's do to these Radios?

 

I use my radio all day to communicate with scale operators equipment operators etc. above picture is a company provided radio that sucks,driving a spare truck right now. I had a nice connex but when the mechanics changed the batteries in my truck they wired the radio in backwards and screwed something up.I have going to have to have it looked at I guess my point is Cb's are a great tool!

 

Pulled into the Belt, MT scale a couple of years ago got a red light. As I was parking scale master called over the CB and said to check the second to last chain, it looked loose.
