Is the cruise control smart enough to deal with downhill grade? Or it is left to the skills of the driver?

Im sure theres some that will brake for you that exist, but im not interested in my truck driving itself, the electronic "smart" stuff may be smart enough for a car, but in a semi its not good enoughtscottme, Suspect Zero and Gabe85 Thank this.

Why dont people like adaptive cruise? My last couple of bid trucks have had it. The only time ive had issues are when it faults out and the newer trucks dont let you override it.
