Truck I am buying has an APU. I am just upgrading it to a newer model and setup. I will also have a deep cleaning done on the engine as well.Dave_in_AZ and spyder7723 Thank this.
-
My mistake. When you said you were getting a new one instated i read it as it didn't have one.TomOfTx Thanks this.

Actually, I should have said I am replacing the APU with a new unit, so my bad.

Current unit needs a lot of work (14,000 service hours) and the piping for the HVAC was never installed correctly, making it somewhat inefficient for cooling, so I am having Thermo King install a whole new system.Dave_in_AZ Thanks this. -
Thier only required to pay 100% of the fuel surcharge to the person paying for the fuel. On govt contracted work.Bean Jr. Thanks this.

I get my engine washed all the time. It's $9 at The Beacon. Looks brand new. They will do the axles for like $20. I do those as needed. Truck looks brand new. It's pennies.TomOfTx and Scooter Jones Thank this.

I am referring to the inside of the engine using a foaming solvent to break down all the carbon and soot buildup internally.
Dave_in_AZ Thanks this. -
Ah. I dunno if I'd do that.TomOfTx Thanks this.
