Heniff. You need a minimum of a year tanker here. Its an easy job
I'd say 75% of what I do is no touch

Never heard of that company. The name sounds cool. Yes it would be nice to work for a company that you don't have to shave your beard. I look like a ####### right now LOL.

It would also be nice to be a local driver and be home every weekend. I have a 5 year old daughter

Pretty much you take a load out and come back empty.
When I ran regional I was home pretty much every other night and weekends off

I dunno about"good$$". I make less weekly than some dry van drivers with the same amount of experience. Granted they drive almost 1000 more miles a week than i do. Schneider pay is low but they know their training is great and not many other companies hire on fresh outta school so they take advantage of that

The ones I'm familiar with are running OTR; maybe that's the difference in paychecks.
I didn't work for Schneider Bulk, but did run OTR pulling tankers, for .36 cpm and took home over a thousand a week on average, due to accessorial pays.

I dont mean to come off as disgruntled cause
I dont mean to come off as disgruntled cause im not. The training was great and they put safety as a main priority. I dont get calls EVER from dispatch asking why im not running. If im tired i sleep end of story. Scneider makes a ton of $$ from the government through subsidies by hiring long term unemployed and military. They look at themselves as a training company. To make decent $$ here you have to keep a clean driving record and become a traoner after 6 months. If you dont want to train, my advice is to get your experience and move on. Great starter company tho
