How realistic is it to make 75-80k a year eventually?

There's a 9000 foot high pass just east of it on US50. I made it over by the Grace of God in December. Want to know if it's pretty thawed out yet.

In most cases, with a year experience, you're qualified to move to a different company that pays much more.

You will do well with tankers; it's difficult not to.

As do I, trust me on this. However these green drivers coming into this job have GOT TO know the downside of this. I have been told by several people that only 3 in 10 drivers that get into trucking last much past 3 years. Now who is being a downer?

Didn't know NETTTS was still around. I went to the one in Baltimore during 1997.

Look at this; IT is supposed to be the big money job, yet those people are bailing out and transitioning to trucking. Many post on this forum and are doing quite well with no regrets.

Okay, so some can make "good money". Nobody says it can't be done, but can person X do it just because they need a change and need good money? That's the $100k question.

Not everyone is cut out to drive truck, let alone drive truck and get into a good position early on. But my bigger point is, if money is your driving factor, WTH get into truck driving? Hell I know rock masons [claim to be] making $125k year in low COL states like Texas, much of it under the table, no doubt. No training costs, home every night.
