See I like my truck. Doesn't bother me at all. I like truck stops, I like trucking.
I even have my cats with me.
It makes a difference liking what you do.

Unless driving is in your blood and you love trucks, then don’t do it. I make about 70-72 k a year now, but it took a couple years. I’ve been driving for 6 years now. Spotless record but I’d much rather have a normal job. I’m home every night, but I’d love to be in a job that wasn’t driving. But then again, I love trucks.

But, if you're miserable in trucking, don't try to bring the rest of us down with you. Quit coming up with all the phoney excuses as to why you do a job you hate for years or decades. Many truckers recommend flipping burgers vs. trucking, to young people; so, why not follow their own advice?knightrider04, Bob Dobalina, BigBob410 and 1 other person Thank this. -
And I've been out for 4 weeks with one to go. Was by the house last week for one night.
Through the teeth of wtf winter storms, all the while just living in the truck.
A lot of people would have blown their brains out weeks ago.
OP why truck driving? Is it just for the money? -
FredZeppelin77, Dave_in_AZ and Chinatown Thank this.
