Same in the military; so many lifers telling first timers to get out and not re-enlist. Yet, if they're forced out after serving 10 yrs. or so, they start writing their congressmen asking for help to re-enlist.

In my case it is because so many people come into this industry with unrealistic expectations of what their life will be like. Nothing wrong with a case of the get reals. I could now turn around and ask why you deem it OK to blow sunshine up their butts? This works both ways!

I got no POS O/O parked next to me with his busted down reefer unit and Smokey APU that needs service waking me up in the middle of the night cause it’s smogging me out or making noises. You want to move but the parking lot is full and your elog says no. Yeah thats great.

I don't blow sunshine; the money is there if one is willing to go for it and not settle for less. Many people that fail in life want company. I prefer to see new drivers do better than I did.
