I am quite content. I eat generally whatever I want in moderation. I love me some taters. I go to the gym regularly, run all the time. I'm 210 lbs, low fat percentage, lots of muscle. You don't gotta live your life on some stiff diet. If you can't go to the gym regularly, take the gym with you.
rodknocker Thanks this. -
I'm 43 and still play basketball with the youngsters.

Staying healthy is a mindset. Also eating only once or twice a day will slow your metabolism and you will gain weight. Eat more small meals through out the day, a handful of no salt nuts are a good snack. Reduce your calorie intake, and walk everyday. Down time, walk more, get the heart rate up. Don't give up your favorite foods, reduce the portion size.
Order smaller portions. Add some ankle and wrist weights to your walk. Get out of the truck. -
Gluton is not toxic and is processed by the human body. Better by some. Same with lactose the sugar in milk.
Stevia is just another fad, the body processes all sugars. Again. Depends on your genetic make up how well.
Eat in moderation. Eat often to keep the blood sugar level for you. -

I've lost 5lbs in the month or so I've been truckin
It's mostly due, I think, to not eating 2/3rd's of the day.
Or, eating 2 banana's a day while on duty. Then eating a decent dinner.
But I haul bulk cement so there is a small amount of physical work involved.
ALSO, I try to stay motivated and active while driving. Singing. Keep my head on a swivel lookin out mirrors, traffic, etc.
When I get home, I'm usually tired. Never thought truckin would make someone as tired as I am when I get home...
*EDIT*
LSAgentOZR - THIS guy knows what he is talking about. Everything he has said is spot on.
We, as Americans, eat SO MUCH processed garbage.
Now, Sir, are you able to educate the class on the danger of Aspartame? How it is derived, what it is a bi-product of, what it's effects are, etc?
PS:
I listen to Alex Jones a lot so the stuff I have heard about Aspartame is shocking.
PSS:
I'm HOOKED on Energy Drinks. I drop em for a bit but as soon as something happens where I am dragging a bit because of lack of rest or whatever I'm right back on em.
They are DEFINITELY a DRUG. IF I don't have one I don't feel like doin crap.Last edited: Apr 22, 2012

I don't trust energy drinks in large proportions. Maybe one every blue moon, but to me a good strong cup of coffee just "feels" better. I tend to get an "awake but off" feeling when I drink a energy drink.
