I thought all you had to say was that you were a broker and everyone fell all over themselves to give you loads.

Man, is that what I've been doing wrong? I just gotta tell 'em I'm a broker? :)

Good info here but perhaps we should take note that the OP has not been back.

Perhaps TQL hired him and he's off counting his millions.

I wonder if they made him shave?

How many have said they were getting broker authority so they can get their own loads?

Apparently I've been posting since 2017, and I've been on here reading longer than that. In that time, I've lost count.

    Hahahaha
It's always nice to have a little humor to lighten things up...

As much as it has served me well, I've always wanted to reduce my dependency on a W2, and I think I have enough of the skills and stick-to-it-iveness required, and an interest in the industry to become reasonably successful...

In 3 - 5 years, I hope that I'll be pretty impressed with my achievements.

Again, I appreciate all the help and encouragement offered.

I've given quite a few chances, almost all of them went back to what they were doing. Doesn't take long to realize that the ones you get to easy are also the cheapest/most demanding.

Pretty good odds that if you cold call a shipper and they actually take time to talk to you on that first call they are all about the rate or they're bad payers.

    PPDCT and Ruthless Thank this.
