^^ Yup, cheapest and easiest thing I've found as well. Simple green is amazing stuff yet it's not acid based like some cleaners, thank goodness.

I love to spray it on and let it cook in, it'll break down oils and grime and you'll find that just from driving in the rain afterwards, they'll be melted away.
Works great on frame, axles, fuel tanks, radiator, etc

Yup, Simple Green is an awesome hand cleaner too. Nothing comes close.

    Amen to that!

Talking hand cleaner, I found a weird one that does grease, oil, etc. very well that you'd never suspect as being good for that.... "Softsoap" it's called....

Looks like stuff geared more for women but it's cheap and works amazingly well! Plus it doesn't dry the hands after repeated use. Anyhow, thought I'd share that recent discovery, lol.

Yup softsoap is really good. So is that powdered green stuff. I hate anything with too much grit or acid in it. Absolutely destroys my hands.

Back to the topic, I'm going to clean my rad this weekend and am going to try simple green. Wish me luck.

Just to make sure I understand correctly... you can just spray it on and leave it till it rains?

I'm sure you could spray it on then wait like 15 minutes then spray again and again until it's all gone then hose it down with water. Get the Simple Green at Home Depot. They sell the big bottles of it.

They sell an acid for condenser cleaning. Here's a great vid. Just spray it in. Let it sit, and rinse out. Don't power wash, just gentle rinsing.

My clutch on my compressor just went so I had to get a new compressor and clutch. I got read the riot act from my mechanic. EVERYTHING was dirty. I mean EVERYTHING inside and out. My whole freaking front end was ripped out and cleaned. My inside thingie was clogged and my filters could have been used to watch a solar eclipse.

I have never ever felt such cold air from my truck before. I learned so much much watching him and how those gauges work and high side pressure, low side pressure, tri something freaking switch and when the fan comes on and off.
