I think I understand what your saying. Here's a suggestion, have it looked at and fixed. Whatever you do don't disable the low air alarm because you might forget to set it back on when you get back on the road. If you get pulled over for inspection it will be a ticket and an OOS.

I'll agree, get it fixed. But you are only required to have an audible OR visible warning, not both.
(2) A warning signal that is audible or visible to a person in the normal driving position and provides a continuous warning to the driver whenever the air pressure in the service reservoir system is at 379 kPa (55 psi) and below, or one-half of the compressor governor cutout pressure, whichever is less. -
How hard is it to pull the fuse or wire a switch in the circuit?

I had air leaking from the park break button. Brake chamber went bad. Mine only leaked for 15-20 seconds before brakes locked up. Luckily I was in the right lane and pulled onto shoulder in those 15-20 seconds. Do not disco air alarms.

Do it. The DOT will love you when they find out.
Just fix the leak. -

I believe he has the International epu system runs off of batteries. Way different than an apu with an engine. Think thats where the confusion comes from.

I agree, sounds like an epu, you have to take the instrument cluster out, take the back off and unplug the buzzer, to stop it, just get the airleak fixed.
chopper103in Thanks this.
