The leak is from the hose connection. Not the threads. Quality installation wasn't in mind when the thing was produced. It doesn't cinch the line down tight. And it takes 2 hours parked before the trailer brakes pop out. Very small leak.

I've had leos actually watch my gauges to make sure the alarm sounds at 60 psi.
-
Go to a TA and ask for this
This doesn't lleak at all. If the hose end leaks then use a lot of nylon thread to seal the nozzle gun. -
And while your at it, also ask for these.
One is to remove the gun.
The big one is in case an alligator breaks your trailer line fitter off, this one is a life saver. -
Ahhh...... That's been a part of your routine pre-trip inspection since the beginning of time. Just like your tractor protection valve pop out press test. And brakes applied air press leak down test.
-
tighten the knobs, they do turn like a screw.
-
Suddenly!
-
Get it fixed....air leaks are bad juju....
-
dissconnect the sensor wire where tranny meets driveshaft, bypass it with a paperclip

That's the VSS and has nothing to do with the low air alarm.
