How am I supposed to get some decent sleep doing that every time the pressure drops?

A gallon of gasoline and a match might be a better option.

OK, the leak needs to be fixed, for no other reason but to keep your compressor from working so much.
Do not disable the alarm and for gods sake do not wire in any switch on it.
It is not an oos or even a fix it ticket violation as long as the low air light works, even in todays world you still just have to have one warning device working, and it does not matter which one it is, to be dot compliant.

1 hour to fix the air leak that you probably caused installing a cheap air hose to clean your truck verses eternity in an inspection barn. It's a no brainer.

    Here is your solution!!!!!
This is a no-idle battery operated system calling it an APU confuses a lot of people. The issue is that when you enable the auto start system the accessory relay closes, this will allow the low air buzzer to operate once air pressure falls below 60 PSI. This issue has been addressed in production but Navistar has not released a document as of yet for the earlier units. Yes major air leaks need to be addressed but when parked and 5 hours into your sleep the alarm activates is quite aggravating.
You have to take the unit to a dealer that has engineering access in DLB. After updating the body controller to the newest levels have the following parameters changed.

    In feature code 595ABB

Programmable Parameters that need to be modified (From 7 to 0).

    2319 - Prim_Air_Press_Alrm_Ty_Param

    2321 - Sec_Air_Press_Alrm_Ty_Param
