You'll be lucky if you pull a plug, fuse or cover the sensor and still have cruise control available.

If I get an on guard error on my truck my cruise control goes bye-bye

We've found that the cruise goes off when ever there's an error too. My dad doesn't use the cruise very often, unless the highway is basically deserted, because, as you probably all know, the stupid thing will all of a sudden lock the brakes up. So I guess it really doesn't matter if the cruise works or not, since we don't use it that much anyway.

If it errors out you can shut cruise off and turn it back on and as fast as you can hit resume may have to do it a time or too but cruise will work when on guard is red u just won't have the collision avoidance

Any ideas on what I could attach to the front of the truck to block the radar and basically shut the stupid annoying piece of crap off?

I would suspect you could simply place your license plate over it.
I don't think it will emit through metal.

Yeah, the license plate should work but ours is already bolted in place, and there's basically no way to bolt it in front of that thing. Plus it's a company truck, so I doubt they'd be too thrilled if I moved the plate or drilled any holes somewhere to reattach it. They'd probably call us on it.

I have heard of people taking the plastic cover off and lining it with a few layers of tin foul never tried it though
