In Wisconsin, I believe quad axle straight dumps can haul almost as much as a T/T. It's the way I'd go today for any kind of local work. Dump trucks are not for the weak or inexperienced. I've seen dumps go over when trying to put the box back down. It's a tough call, sometimes it's better to go for it and hope it works. I had enough of dump trucks, fo sho,,,

Dump all air, trailer brakes only, unless trailer is leaning put it ALL the way up to get the material out of the nose, if your putting it down, wait for it to go all the way down, do not stop it in the middle, a piece of plastic in the nose of you go into a landfill helps it slide, full frame gives people a false sense of hope, they go over just as easy as a frameless except it’s harder to see/feel, frameless is the only way to go (unless your paving)
