Yeah, picking up the phone and/or filling out the associated Carrier Packets were so incredibly difficult. Please.

Real talk, in the past week I signed up three carriers who's MCs had been active for less than three weeks. Plenty of other brokers will use new entrants as well. @DSK333 isn't wrong.

Yup, everybody has done that. It's easy as it sounds. The hardest part is to get the price you need. Brokers seeing that you got a new MC, will low-ball you like crazy

It seems to me like every tom dick and harry that leaves me a voicemail with " really good money on this one" is pretty shy on the doll-hairs. I'm not a five digit authority, but I've been around a little bit.

One of my coworkers uses that phrase. I hate that phrase. It's not our job to determine if the rate is "Really good money." My job is to quote appropriately so that #### gets done. I cringe hard every time he says it. You guys get to decide if the money is good enough, and that's not for us to decide.

Using that phrase probably works for him more often than you'd think. There is after all a sucker born every minute, so I hear.

Seriously just saying something confidently bowls over an absurd % of the population. The reason I don't do it is that when they figure out it wasn't true they get super resentful. Resentment is the #1 breeding ground for drama and drama will stop you from pushing real volume.
