if it was me I would call recruiter tell her you got a ticket for five miles over the posted speed limit and let her take it from there.but she may want you to fax her the proof.do you remember where this happened and the county or even the town or city?

I don't, it was while driving to an area I had never been before. I only know it was somewhere between Dallas and McKinney, which covers 2 counties. I've called all the towns on the way there and nada!

It was in another state, I've since moved. Back then, it was about a 50 minute drive from home and I'm guessing I got pulled over about 30 minutes into it. That would land me in one of two towns after looking at a map, but neither of them have me on file.

you'll need to find out the county.but even then they won't tell you anything over the phone.you would have to drive to the court house along with two forms of I'D and they'll make a copy of your ticket for you.

I would call an auto insurance agent and ask for a quote. When they ask if you had any tickets within the last three years, I would tell them about the one your looking for. And they should be able to find it for you. Ask them after they find the ticket, what, where, and when you got it. Every time I do a renewal or shop for quotes, they always find any tickets in the past. Call several agency's, one will eventually work with you.

OK, if you know it could only be in one of the two counties, you can try calling the county court clerk for those counties. I don't know if all tickets go to a county traffic court, or if they are in a muni court somewhere there. But if it is a county court, then that should be simple.
And finally, if you just can't find out any info at all, then I'd suggest looking to a different trucking company. I sure would not tell them a guess as to what your speed was, as if they check it, and find it was over what you said...you can figure what will happen.
Anyway, if you are beating your head against a stone wall, try a smaller outfit.

I called both counties, got nothing. I'm looking for company sponsored schooling so my options are limited. Wouldn't most companies want to know the same thing though?

is there a another code after S93 ? that would tell you which violation.

if all efforts produce zilch .. let it go.. but the company will look when they insure you.
