Climate Express will hire you. I know a driver with now that was out of a truck for 4 years, matter of fact, we were in the same orientation class. We are both still there over a year and a half later. I'm going to PM you some info.slow.rider Thanks this.

I thought they require a refresher course after 3 years??

Sorry for your losses, that would have been hell to go through and playing forum psychologist i might say those circumstances were almost certainly causal in your weight gain.
That said, I think you might be missing something obvious, go do flatbed.
You are guaranteed at least SOME physical activity with your loads.
Its also mentally somewhat demanding and as people tell you youre number one, you care less when you are tired from physically working than when you are just tired from driving or sitting in a dock waiting on people all dayslow.rider Thanks this. -
Not all companies do.
Some just do a road test and some may require a couple trips with another driver.slow.rider and rachi Thank this. -
Arent they still a Prime contractor?

Some haul Prime freight out of Springfield, MO
Stiil, are two seperate companies.Bumper Thanks this. -
Not sure where you live but I would recommend getting some flatbed experience somewhere then looking into Kaiser.
They do LTL open deck so every load is a puzzle and most of them are tarped so plenty of exercise. Pay is above average, some say it’s not worth the amount of work you have to do, that’s up to the individual. They also run all 389’s with plenty of shinny bits. -
If you're still working for UPS and think you might want to go the package delivery van route I don't think I have to tell you what the job is.
If you think you'll be comfortable doing over 100 stops a day then by all means go for it.
They definitely pay well. Good luck -
I am very impressed at your weight loss Congratulations
